First of all, I appreciate the reference you’ve made to Next Generation Chiropractor. Since its inception, its purpose is to train chiropractors on how to successfully use blogs and social media to grow their chiropractic practices.

Since less than 1% of chiropractors actually blog (see Reason #1 mentioned in 6 Essential Reasons Why You Need a Chiropractic Blog), I’ve devoted a great deal of time and energy to wake up our profession to this powerful medium.

And, with the metamorphosis of traditional marketing into more inbound marketing, chiropractors NEED to jump on board or they’ll be left behind. Thus the reason for my mission!

Outside of Next Generation Chiropractor, I’m a national consultant for chiropractors and travel extensively as a social media advocate.

Another resource you can turn to is Start Blogging Today. I’m one of five professional bloggers that makes up the team for this membership-only site.

And, if you think the team is made up of amateurs, check again. It’s a powerhouse team of A-listers that’s been around the world of blogging and social media for quite sometime.

So, yes, blogs and social media can be successfully used within niche-specific industries. And, as the author of this post pointed out, it’s just a matter of repurposing content to match the specific industry you want to target.

Thank you so much for leaving such a detailed comment Dr. MacNamara! I really enjoyed your website, and I have already learned a few things myself. And I will be sure to check out Start Blogging Today, as will many of our readers, I’m sure.
